First Responders Day

The Police Department and City of Navasota host the annual First Responders Day on the third Saturday of May.

First Responders Day honors our local Fire Fighters, Police Officers and E.M.Ts who serve Grimes County and work to keep its citizens safe and secure. Take a look around to learn more about the day's activities, the agencies attending, and join us in downtown Navasota on the third Saturday of May. The annual event was founded in 2016. It is an opportunity for the public to take time to not only recognize the First Responders who serve Grimes County, but also meet them and learn what role each agency plays to keep the citizens safe. First Responders Day is free to the public, and has activities for the whole family to enjoy. We hope you'll join us as we celebrate our local heroes.
